Nothing you type
There is no contact form, no enquiry form, no newsletter sign-up and no account to create. There is nowhere on this website to enter a name, an address or anything else, so nothing is submitted and nothing is stored.
This website collects nothing about you. It has no forms, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. What follows says so in more detail, and covers what happens to your details when you get in touch.
There is no contact form, no enquiry form, no newsletter sign-up and no account to create. There is nowhere on this website to enter a name, an address or anything else, so nothing is submitted and nothing is stored.
No page sets a cookie, and nothing about your visit is kept in your browser between pages or between visits. That is also why you are not being asked to accept anything: there is nothing to accept.
No visitor analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social media tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Your visit is not counted, profiled or passed to anyone.
The hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical records of requests to the site, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running. These are the host's own records and are not used to identify or profile visitors.
The typefaces used on this site, Archivo and Inter Tight, are served by Google Fonts rather than from this website. Loading a page therefore makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address and basic browser information as part of that request.
No cookie is set by this, and nothing identifying you is sent. It is listed here because it is the only point at which loading this website involves anyone other than Stainthorpe Electrical and its host.
Enquiries come by phone or by email. If you call or write, the details you give are used to answer you, to quote for the work, to carry it out and to issue the certification that goes with it.
That normally means a name, a phone number or email address, the address of the property and a description of the work. It is kept only as long as it is needed: for a quote that comes to nothing, until the enquiry is closed, and for completed work, as long as the records and certification have to be retained.
Nothing is sold, rented or passed on for marketing. Details are shared with someone else only where the work itself requires it, for example when a certificate has to be registered with the relevant body.
Under data protection law you can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where there is no longer a reason to keep it. Ask by phone or email and it will be dealt with directly.
Request a copy of the personal details held about you, and what they are used for.
Have anything inaccurate put right, or have your details removed where they no longer need to be kept.
If you are not satisfied with how a request has been handled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
